Whitewater
Experience the thrill of whitewater rafting on the Snake River.
Lewis & Clark originated "U-Paddle" rafting in Jackson Hole. Learning
the ropes is easy with one of our expert boatmen guiding your
raft through the exhilirating rapids. Dig in and get wet! You'll
have your chances to take in the fabulous canyon scenery, BUT
another big rapid always awaits you. "Big Kahuna", "Lunch Counter",
and "Rope Rapids" will rock your boat as wild waves crest the
bow. It's a bona fide outdoor experience that makes your visit
to Jackson Hole complete. Trips are 8 river miles and depart every
2 hours from our office just 3 blocks north of the Jackson Town
Square.
Classic Whitewater
Our standard rafts typically carry 8-14 paddlers and were custom-
designed for the strength of the Snake River.

The Small Boat Option:
Lewis & Clark has the smallest of 'em all. For over ten years
we have set the standard with our 13 foot rafts. These self-bailing
boats are designed for extra action, with five to seven paddlers
manning the craft captained by one of our expert guides. NOT for
the timid, this adventure is for those who want to devour all
the Snake has to offer. Minimum age is 10 years. This option is
not available during peak spring runoff.
Our Free Riverside Steak Dinner
Try our tantalizing riverside steak dinner. Once you've finished
your whitewater run, we take you to our riverside campsite, where
you'll find an 8oz. steak or salmon filet sizzling on your
plate along with corn-on-the-cob, potato salad, hot garlic bread
and lemonade. Offered late June through mid-August. |
